Before you purchase homeschool curriculum, you'll want to give some thought to the different ways that people learn and try to identify your child's learning style. This will benefit your child, but will also make homeschooling easier for you.  Most people have one primary learning style, but most of us also overlap somewhat into other styles. Focusing on your child's learning style will help bring more success to your homeschooling. 

When talking about socialization, we are referring to children's ability to engage with and function effectively and productively in the world around them. Schooling can play a role, but not the powerful or always positive one so often assume. Homeschooled children are generally found to be well-adjusted and demonstrate fewer behavioral problems than their schooled peers.
