This is a topical, Christian discussion list dedicated to learning and encouraging others who are implementing the Charlotte Mason methods and philosophy in their homes. We are largely but not exclusively homeschool families.
Charlotte Mason Support Group for NW GA
This group was established to provide information and offer support for all new and veteran home educators that have adopted a Charlotte Mason approach. Currently they serve members from Bartow, Cobb, Cherokee, Douglas and Paulding county. This group was founded so that all homeschoolers in the area can offer support and share how CM methods are being applied in whatever teaching approach they are currently using in their own family's home education system.

This email group benefits all types of homeschoolers, but especially Charlotte Mason, Ruth Beechick, eclectic, relaxed homeschoolers, notebookers, etc. As a member of this group you'll receive a bi-monthly newsletter of tips for nature notebooks, encouragement, living book reviews and experiences. Literature Alive
Literature Alive! is an email group list for the literary website of the same name. This list seeks to encourage and support parents who have a love for literature and a desire to share good wholesome books with their children. Its purpose is to develop the art and excitment of using great living literature in a learning lifestyle. This group will share information on how to turn a living book into a cherished book within the home. Different literature study methods enhanced by Charlotte Mason's writing will be discussed: lapbooks, notebooks, journals, book clubs, reading settings, etc.

Simply Charlotte Mason Curriculum
This curriculum is designed to help you homeschool the Charlotte Mason way with confidence and freedom. Your whole family is combined together for as many subjects as possible as you enjoy a wonderful mix of modern and classic books. You have the freedom to start with any history time period you like and add in other subjects from a variety of choices. It’s a thorough and enjoyable education, but with enough room to reflect on what is being learned or to add additional resources, if desired.
CM Families of the South
The purpose of this loop is to encourage homeschooling families living in the Southern states who are trying to incorporate the philosophy of Charlotte Mason in their homes in their efforts to raise their children with an enthusiasm for learning.
What is the Charlotte Mason Method?

The Charlotte Mason method is based on Charlotte’s firm belief that the child is a person and we must educate that whole person, not just his mind. So a Charlotte Mason education is three-pronged: in her words, “Education is an Atmosphere, a Discipline, a Life.”

CMmamas - Leader support group

Ambleside Online

AmblesideOnline is a free homeschool curriculum that uses Charlotte Mason's classically-based principles to prepare children for a life of rich relationships with everything around them: God, humanity, and the natural world. The curriculum includes detailed schedules, time-tested methods, and extensive teacher resources allow parents to focus effectively on the unique needs of each child. The AmblesideOnline library hosts a large collection of original Charlotte Mason materials, which have been digitized by volunteers. In addition, they offer a wide variety of resources for homeschooling parents and Charlotte Mason educators: a support forum, an archive of wisdom from experienced Charlotte Mason educators, as well as original and current books and articles about Charlotte Mason's living ideas.

WholeHeart Workshop Group
This group is located in Georgia, specifically the metro Atlanta area. It is dedicated to providing the most up to date information regarding our 6 month workshop system. Living Math Forum
This is an on-topic list dedicated to the discussion of "living math" - mathematics education using living books and materials, as opposed to traditional curricula as the primary learning tool. Discussion applies to mathematics learning from birth to adult self education, with the understanding that arithmetic is only one feature of mathematics as a whole. Math history topics will apply as well. Educators using Charlotte Mason, Thomas Jefferson Ed (relaxed classical), Montessori, Waldorf and unschooling methods may benefit from the exchange of ideas.
